STORY BEHIND THE COLLECTION
the idea >
while in a festival in south of portugal, the hot weather was making my life a bit harder, a feeling shared with other guests; at least until i spotted an older gentleman with a guest towel; he had a lot of style and that towel was part of the experience, mounting up the whole. then, i had an idea.

the partnership >
i researched for the best portuguese manufacturers of these kind of products, taking into consideration the environment as well. i found Lameirinho.

the process >
i wanted to be as simple as possible and i did not want to be part of the problem for sure. the non-addition process was developed with the purpose of an invitation to stop making the new. so i wrote a copy explaining exactly that and printed in the most environmental safe way i could. and so it is done.

the output >
i ordered 5 guest towels from Lameirinho, and printed 25 cards to 'add' to the original tags. from these 5, i will take 1 (for future festivals i guess), and i will give 4 to influential people. Therefore, Murcha will have 20 guest towels available. i dont consider myself a designer, but this collection is a statement and i hope it works - stop making the new. after covering the project's costs, the profit will go straightway to a nature restoration project.
